I have a serious addiction to Subway. As some may have noted from previous reviews, I do not eat any meat so my options are very limited. However, that does not matter because I am obsessed with the veggie patty. Only sandwich I get, and it's reasonably healthy with a decent amount of protein. It even tastes good without cheese/mayo or other fattening toppings.
This location is great-- it's always clean, rarely has a line and the employees are friendly and build sandwiches with plenty of toppings. They even have a frequent customer card, which they stamp after each purchase and will keep it there for you in a little box so you don't have to remember it.
This review may be biased since I probably love Subway more than the average person, but what the hell...it's a staple in my diet. -

Today at lunch i was asked by the bare handed cashier what type of sandwich I had ordered. I replied, "a 6" tuna". The cashier then fully unwrapped my sandwich, manhandled it in his palm and spread the bread open, prodding the tuna with his finger. He said, "just making sure" he wrapped it back up and handed it to me. Disgusting, lost my appetite. What kind of sanitation training do these employees receive?

I have been going to this Subway location for a long time due to proximity. Usually the sandwiches are good. Unfortunately, my last vusit wasn't the case.
I've seen this sandwich maker before. She has been working there for at least 5 years. Her annoyance clearly shows. I get my usual, sweet onion with honey oat. She slices the loaf open, wrecking one end in the process. She puts the cheese on and the chicken. The chicken ends up in the middle of the bread, so when I ate it, I got a mouthful of chicken in one bite and only bread on the other.
Putting veggies on was bad too. The vegetables were put on sparingly. I understand that inventory needs to be held accountable. But, I would gladly pay for extra vegetables if they chose to charge it. I understamd that you get what you pay for.
The sandwich maker proceeds to cut, wrap and bag my sandwich.
Remember when I said one end of the bread was wrecked? That half of the sandwich was a labor of love to eat since it fell apart. The napkins? They were fine if you would like your napkins dirtied up from making other sandwiches.
In conclusion, I would go again, just not when this person is working and phoning it in. Yeah, I know working in a restaurant sucks. But, at least show you care. -

Okay, I never thought I'd give a high rating to a fast food restaurant, but this Subway earned it with their outstanding service and reliability.
First, I've been going to this particular Subway off and on for several years and it is refreshing to see many of the same employees still working there. All are quite friendly and cheerful.
The address says it's on State Street, but most locals will say it's on Roosevelt Road (aka Route 38).
If you walk in and see a long line waiting, don't worry! These employees have the system down pat! I can get through this Subway line in no time with multiple sub orders (for coworkers) amidst a busy lunchtime crowd, and I KNOW they will get everything right. Just when I think I need to pause when telling them what I want on my sub, they are already asking "Anything else?" Man they're fast!
I have a choice of two other Subway restaurants for lunch around my workplace, and although this one is the furthest away, it is my top choice based on their friendliness, quality service, and speed in preparing my order.
